This year's salary negotiations have been completed.
Originally, we negotiate in mid-January, but this year, we did it a little early, so the salary has already been decided.
The results are as expected.
As expected, the company only gives what I thought, and I don't give more than that.
This year's annual salary has been decided, so I calculated how much my hourly wage is.

What's your hourly wage?
Usually, annual salary workers calculate hourly wages.
If you divide your pre-tax salary by 209 hours, you will get an hourly wage used to calculate your normal wage.
If there is a person with a monthly salary of 2.09 million won, his hourly wage will be 10,000 won.
But the hourly wage I'm trying to get is not a normal wage.
I'm actually looking for an hourly wage by comparing the time I put in and the annual salary.
One person receives 2.09 million won per month without overtime.
One person works overtime for an hour every day and receives 2.09 million won per month.
If you calculate the normal wage, the hourly wage for the two is the same at 10,000 won.
However, when calculated by real wages, the hourly wage for overtime workers is lower.
Another example is commuting time.
One person's commuting time is 10 minutes one way, and his monthly salary is 2.09 million won.
One person commute for two hours, but his monthly salary is 2.09 million won.
Whose hourly wage is higher?
What's your real wage?
The formula for obtaining real hourly wage is as follows.
Salary/ (209 hours + commuting hours + overtime hours)
Commuting time is simple.
Measure the time it takes to door-to-door and calculate that you go to work 313 days a year.
It may be a little difficult to calculate overtime hours.
If you can check the company's attendance record, you can calculate it with that data.
If I can't check it out, I'll have to record it by hand.
What's good about knowing the real wage?
You can think about why you're getting such a thing unnecessarily.
There is only one reason why I seek real hourly wage.
To use it as an indicator when changing jobs.
There are cases where there is no significant difference from the current company when calculating the actual hourly wage.
As I changed jobs, my commuting time increased from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
If the monthly overtime hours increased by 20 hours compared to the current company,
It may be paid a higher hourly wage to just stay at the current company without changing jobs.
Changing jobs.
The current company's annual salary is 50 million won.
Overtime, 0 hours per year.
Commuting time is 2 hours.
Annual investment time is 209 hours*12 months+0+313 days*2 hours=3,134 hours.
Actual hourly wage = 50 million won / 3,134 hours = 15,954 won
The company's annual salary is 65 million won.
2 hours of overtime.
Commuting time is 3 hours round trip.
Annual investment hours: 209 hours × 12 months + 2 hours × 313 days + 313 days × 3 hours = 4,073
Actual hourly wage = KRW 65 million/4,073 hours = KRW 15,958
The annual salary has increased by 15 million won, but if you work overtime for two hours every day and your commuting time has increased by one hour, the hourly wage is similar to not moving.
The increase in annual salary is due to the investment of a lot of time, not the increase in hourly wages.
Therefore, when preparing for a job change, you should consider not only the annual salary, but also the degree of overtime and the increase in commuting time.
If the Fire people's goal is to change jobs in the same situation as above? Is it better to be satisfied with your current job?
If it were me, I would continue my current job.
If the hourly wage is the same anyway, I think it is more in line with the Fire's goal to reduce the time spent investing in the company to get a proper salary and live as a time rich.
The method of obtaining a real hourly wage is described in more detail in the book below.
If you are interested, please read it if you are interested, as you can get a more accurate real wage by subtracting and subtracting the time and cost required to go to the company.
